Agree. There is some excellent content on Substack. Apart from yourself, John Leak, Michael Shellenberger and Matt Hancock give interesting perspectives. The Tucker Carlson discussion with Michael Shellenberger on the fires in California is well worth the listen. I listened to a Candace Owens podcast when she was banned from Australia and discovered she is well-informed and entertaining.

The Platform lost me almost from the beginning; Mike Hosking frustrates the hell out of me over his Covid stance and RCR, although I still support it lost me when it changed its format.

So, Substack and Podcast are my main go to along with Fox News and occasionally Sky News.

Now I’m wondering if that diet could make me narrow minded!

I had moved entirely to "alternative" media by about 2020, having endured with increasingly limited tolerance an endless stream of so-called "news" stories appearing to consist entirely of reporting the degree to which the sun rose out of Jacinda Arderns rear end that day. With a few thrown in remarks about our imminent demise by climate change, and how racist all white people are. The fact that all NZ media seemed to believe they were covering the news without bias was the single most offputting part of it. Why would anyone still listen to a word these clowns say?
