One word...SICK. The legacy of the previous DEI woke government is still being promoted by acolytes of our very own education ministry. These shills capture our children at the very beginning of their formal education. What is the current administration doing to alleviate this intrusive indoctrination of young minds ? Nothing...for them it`s all about the economy. TOSH.
Hearing about where the funding is coming from, told by Penny of “Let Kids be Kids” I can’t imagine this horror going away anytime soon. And look at that Benjamin Doyle after outing himself as a pedo- still allowed in parliament! Still saying out loud that children need to have the right to puberty blockers! What can a grandmother do? The parents have NO idea and sure won’t listen to me!! I know it’s unbelievable….
A grandmother can go to the school where her grandchildren attend and make an appointment to see the principle and respectfully and quietly ask how this school is implementing the syllabus and if you're unhappy with the answer, ask to see the actual teacher. Schools are autonomous in how they carry out the curriculum and not all follow it slavishly. It sounds as though Wakatipu has a zealot in charge. Find out who's on the board and engage with them because you can be sure that in a similar extreme case they won't be aware of what's happening.
Yes of course! I did attend their presentation of the sex ed and didn’t see anything untoward. They don’t have Pride week…I’m pretty sure the principal is lesbian so that helps!! But I’m on red alert!!
I recall watching the video he made after being kicked out of the school meeting, where he had tried to protest the perverted filth masquerading as Sex Ed. Good on him for fighting this crap. I’m no innocent lamb, but half this weirdo sex crap really makes me feel a little bit queasy.
Gotta laugh, or cry, when you can’t discuss something in front of a teenager when said material is being taught to those even younger.. D-uh.
Any organisation can attract deviants into its ranks, and that includes genuine charities. Knowing this, they must not only do their best to filter them out in the first place, they must also be able to identify the rotten eggs and remove them if required.
If this school board has failed to do their moral duty, they should be held accountable, along with the deviant teacher.
To leave young children to the wolves is completely unacceptable.
Another extraordinary story. Sounds like the School Board has no idea of what is on the Curriculum. On another note Peter....what about an interview with Shane Jones soon. Your last interview with Winston Peters was a total stand-out political interview and fully displayed your mastery of the genre.
Although it may be slightly off-topic one of the things that emerged from Auckland Law School 11 years ago (apart from a group of very capable lawyers) was this parody of "Blurred Lines" called Defined Lines. It was part of the annual Law School production. It is worth a look
How would it work out if we were to re-establish provincial education boards?
Would that lead them to becoming more responsive to the parents' priorities?
It seems to be that the centralisation of education administration hasn't really improved the results, either when it comes to spending on building maintenance, nor on maintaining either academic standards or the ever-important cultural standards.
There is one whole city near here, with whole suburbs, in which the ministry consistently refuses to build new schools. Ok, there are schools in the area, but the cultural milieu is just not compatible.
Surely parents should be able to choose on these questions, especially when we pay taxes towards Vote Education....
And by cultural, I'm including the questions you raise about relationships and sex. It should be required for the schools to at least brief the parents beforehand, and listen to their feedback,...
Thanks for tackling this and extending readership, Peter Williams and Rodney Hide! This is the kind of filth that the Green Party and (only to a slightly lesser extent) Labour. While National Party are like the "three (un)wise) monkeys": "See no evil; speak no evil; and hear no evil" and are failing to eliminate this predatory pedophilia by New Zealand's Education System and teachers.
Go Rodney. What is happening at that school is APPALLING. All parents should be up in arms with you.
As a teacher and a woman, I'm appalled at this explicit sexual violence theme being broadcast to school pupils at school.

That said I agree with the final sentence (and the theme) of your post.
Just watched that recommended YouTube video, it was well done 🤙

Would love to have been able to copy this one Peter.
Jocelyn said it well! Bloody disgusting and part of the takeover of New Zealand by racist, woke, DEI
perversion of our society. So sad to see National siding with the buggers!
